Underground

Son #1 and I took advantage of our last months in Europe to see something we've never seen before...London! Armed with tips from a native and plenty of research, off we went to see the Queen. We saw her house, and we saw her money, we saw her gardens, and we travelled in her underground, all over the City. This Underground is well-planned! It seems to have loads of cancellations, but when it worked, we sped around speedily, from Marylbone to London Bridge, up to Bloombury and back again to Highbury-Islington.

My favorite sign was "Items caught in the door cause delays. Please keep your clothing and other articles clear of the doors." Interesting motivation to not get your clothing greasy and ripped.

And "way out," of course.

Papa John's and Krispy Kreme? Who knew. Plus about 52 Starbucks. We only stopped in once.
