The Benton County Courthouse, in Oregon, is the oldest continually-used courthouse in the state. Beautiful, beloved, full of history since re-settlers colonized in the 1800's.
In the past few years, studies have been created to approach the puzzle of how to make this old building earthquake-safe. First conclusions were that it was not possible. They are still working on it.
In the meantime, spring looks good on its maples.
