Razing

The corn is coming down! Last weekend I drove west across the state and east back, and the whole way I saw machines out knocking it flat.

Coming around one corner I was facing a large, square vehicle with big lights across the top - my first thought was that there was a tank coming toward me. :) Whoops, wrong context!

(Reminds me of the time in land-locked Skopje I briefly thought a VW Bug had a surfboard on its roof. Weird how one world can jump to the forefront in another world.)

I was amazed how quickly the fields could be taken in.
