libraries north to south

In addition to my stop at the Viroqua library a couple weeks back, Mom and I utilized three local libraries in 5 days of a recent road trip. Quiet or distraction, reference librarians, refuge, impetus, digital or paper connection to the whole world...what is NOT in a library?
